Northwest Rio Grande Soccer League
A Classic Soccer League

Northwest Rio Grande Soccer League (NWRGSL) is a non-profit organization, providing organized classic soccer for children ages 4-18 years of age in the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Corrales and surrounding areas. NWRGSL offers an affordable developmental and competitive soccer with professional training and supervision.

The majority of teams that participate in the NWRGSL are local community base soccer clubs.

The small-sided game format is used during the regular season games. Small sided games mean fewer players on the field, more touches and more playing opportunities for the players on the field versus playing in AYSO recreational leagues.

2016 Fall Schedules

The 2016 Fall Schedule is now final.  Please visit the 2016 Fall Schedule link.

NWRGSL apologizes for the delay in publishing the schedules for Fall 2016.  Our draft schedule was ready two weeks ago.  Unfortunately, we were still waiting for the Duke City Soccer League to finalize their schedule so that we could adjust our schedule to minimize conflicts for all of our coaches and teams that play in both schedules.

Small Sided Playing Rules

Based on recommendations from U.S. Soccer, NWRGSL revised its small sided rules over the summer. These revised rules are effective immediately, and affect all matches played at U12 and below.  Please click here for the current rules.

Referees are needed to help with the upcoming season soccer season, which starts this fall. If you are intereseted in becoming a referee please contact the NM Soccer Referee Association (NMSRA). Click here for more information.
