The Northwest Rio Grande Soccer League (NWRGSL) was established in 1976 as a non-profit league of local, community-based soccer clubs in West Albuquerque and its suburbs. Several of our original founding member clubs are still going strong today, while others have been absorbed by for-profit national clubs like Rush and Rio. NWRGSL still draws the majority of its players from Albuquerque's North Valley, South Valley and West Mesa, as well as from the surrounding communities of Bernalillo, Corrales, Rio Rancho and Los Lunas. The success of any club in the Northwest Rio Grande Soccer League contributes to the success of all the other clubs, benefitting the youth and soccer in our communities.
